Haw Par Villa 2026: Closure Status, Hell's Museum & What to Know

Haw Par Villa is not operating like a normal full-park visit right now. The attraction's current homepage says essential maintenance and repair works that began on 8 December 2025 have left the outdoor park partially closed or closed to general access until further notice, while Hell's Museum remains open.

The official Haw Par Villa pages are not fully synchronised: the Park FAQ still shows the usual park hours of 9am to 8pm and free admission, while the homepage carries the ongoing closure notice. For a visit now, treat the closure notice as the more important status update and check it again on the day you plan to go.

Hell's Museum is still open

Hell's Museum currently lists daily opening hours of 10am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm. It includes the Ten Courts of Hell and is a separately ticketed indoor experience rather than part of the free outdoor park visit.

Ticket prices: the official pages currently conflict

The dedicated Hell's Museum page currently lists S$22 for adults and S$12 for children aged 7 to 12, with children aged six and under free. However, Haw Par Villa's Park FAQ still displays an older S$20 adult and S$10 child price. Because the attraction's own pages disagree, use the live booking page as the final price before payment rather than relying on an older guide or cached result.

How long to allow

Hell's Museum suggests roughly two to four hours depending on interest level. If the outdoor park is still restricted, do not build a fixed walking itinerary around the full sculpture park. Plan the museum first, then add any outdoor areas that staff confirm are accessible when you arrive.
