Singapore Night Festival 2026: Dates, Zones & What to See

Singapore Night Festival is back for its 17th edition from 21 August to 5 September 2026. This year's theme is Myths and Legends, with the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct turned into an after-dark trail of projections, installations, performances and food.

Start with the National Museum area

One of the major additions in 2026 is a Museum Zone centred around the National Museum of Singapore, Children's Museum Singapore and nearby heritage spaces. The National Museum facade is also the canvas for Tales of Earth and Sea, a projection-mapping work drawing on regional folklore.

The festival spreads across several zones

The wider programme stretches from Funan and CHIJMES through Cathay Green and Waterloo Centre to Bras Basah Complex and Stamford Arts Centre. That makes it more useful to plan around two or three anchor installations instead of trying to cover everything in a single night.

Most of the experience can be done without a ticket

Much of the festival is accessible for free, including many outdoor installations and facade projections. Ticketing applies to selected experiential programmes, so check the programme page before committing to a route.

Our suggested approach

• Arrive around Bras Basah or City Hall before the busiest late-evening period.
• Choose one projection-mapping anchor, one installation cluster and one performance area.
• Wear comfortable shoes: the festival is designed as a precinct-wide walk rather than a single venue.
• Check weather and programme updates before leaving home; outdoor works may be affected by rain.
