How we report and review
The Singapore Best is edited independently. Advertisers, affiliate partners and sponsors have no influence over what we choose to cover, how we rate a product, or what we say about it.
How we review
Products in our Guides and buying-guide articles are tested by our own team wherever possible — in real Singapore homes, against Singapore conditions (humidity, dust, HDB floor plans) rather than manufacturer spec sheets alone. Where hands-on testing isn't possible, we say so and rely on verified owner feedback and published specifications instead.
Corrections
We update articles when facts change — a restaurant closes, a price moves, a product gets discontinued. Significant factual corrections are noted with an "Updated" date on the article. You can report an error via our Contact page.
Sponsored & affiliate content
Sponsored articles are always labelled "Sponsored" or "Partner Content" and are written to the same quality bar as our independent work. Affiliate links are disclosed on every article that contains them — see our Affiliate Disclosure for full detail.
Sourcing
We attribute information to its original source, use named authors wherever possible, and avoid publishing claims we can't verify.
